About QAF

  • Established in 1993, The Quranic Arabic Foundation QAF is a registered UK charity committed to furthering the understanding of the Qur’an and its sciences. QAF is globally recognised for its courses, publications and research in Qur'anic Arabic.

Why QAF's emphasis on the Quranic Arabic in this modern age?

QAF is globally recognised for its courses, publications and research in Qur'anic Arabic. Muslim Qur'anic scholarship is extremely rich, to the extent that a person would struggle to complete its study even in an entire life time. It is remarkable to witness that Qur'anic Arabic has set a single uniform standard of Arabic language which has been meticulously and ardently followed for the last fifteen centuries. In fact, the Qur'an continues to resolve Arabic linguistic disputes up to present day. This uniform set standard makes easy the study and comprehension of the immense Arabic literature contributed over fifteen centuries on different disciplines of language and human civilisation. This is the principal reason why Qur'anic Arabic has been studied from its inception to this day. QAF provides a modern learning environment through analyses and research, and educates on linguistics, literary and Qur'anic Arabic using the Quran and the Sunnah as its core source of study.

The nature of the designed courses are such that a beginner can study from scratch and achieve mastery over Qur'anic Arabic in a relatively short period
